We are back into the routine! We have one week under our belt, so things should get easier from here. It's always a struggle when school starts back to get back into the swing of things. Skyler is LOVING first grade!!! She loves her teacher, has some old friends in her class, and has made a few new friends. As a kindergartner you are not able to purchase any "extras" in the cafeteria, but now as a first grader she can. We sent money with her this Friday to buy her first slushy - she was SUPER excited!!! 
Alyssa is thrilled to be back at Nancy's!!! However, we never doubted she would be happy to go back!! She loves to tell us what she does everyday. It's always about Nancy's dogs and playing with her friend Katherine. She has a new found love for the show "Dora the Explorer". She sings, dances, and speaks Spanish while watching. She is such a cute, personable, and absolutely hilarious little lady!!!
Skyler, in addition to gymnastics, started cheerleading this past week. She is doing great and absolutely LOVING it!!! I am also coaching her cheerleading team. It's a lot of extra work for me; but I am truly enjoying it! I'm sure I'll do it for many years to come :) I definitely think this is
something she wants to do for a long time. She told me that she was going to do it until she was 16. I was then informed that's when your too old to cheer - LOL!!!! I'm surprised I'm still walking at my ancient age :) Her uniform fits so great!! She is so proud and can't wait for that first football game!
